Christina Baptista, CIPP/US

Christina Baptista serves as Senior Counsel for the Department of Justice, Office for Privacy and Civil Liberties (OPCL), specializing in privacy in emerging technologies, procurements, immigration, litigation, and training. She co-chairs the Department’s Data Brokers Working Group and is a member of the Emerging Technology Board’s Artificial Intelligence Use Case Inventory Working Group. Before joining the OPCL, she served as Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel for the Executive Office for Immigration Review where she led the General Law and Immigration Law Units. She is a graduate of the City University of New York School of Law and the University of California at Los Angeles. She is a member of the State Bar of New York.
