About the IAPP

Donna McPartland, FIP, CIPM, CIPPUS - Donna is Chief Privacy Officer and General Counsel at PRO-ED, Inc, a publisher of diagnostic assessments and other media for clinicians, school psychologists, special educators, speech language therapists and OTs. Donna is a Data Privacy and Cybersecurity lawyer who works with clients to provide strategic, practical legal advice to develop and maintain domestic and global data privacy and security programs. Donna has over 25 years of legal experience with many years in-house in Chief Privacy Officer roles and in private practice. Donna was the Chief Privacy Officer at the College Board. Prior to that, she was the CPO at the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) (owner of GMAT exam). Donna is a longtime member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and currently serves on the CIPM Exam Development Board and is a member of the AI Governance Professional Exam (AIGP) item writing group. Donna is also actively involved in the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) and was the Co-Chair of the ATPSC International Privacy Subcommittee. Donna was a longtime member of the Board of Directors of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center. Donna is also a supporter of the US-Ireland Alliance and serves on its Advisory Board.
