About the IAPP

Lara Kehoe Hoffman (CIPP/E, CIPP/US) is Assistant Chief Counsel of Enforcement at the California Privacy Protection Agency. Prior to joining the Agency, Lara was a Senior Fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum and held senior privacy leadership roles in industry.

Lara has strong expertise in global privacy and data protection laws and best practices, cybersecurity and breach response preparedness, information management and governance, and related public policy. She has domain expertise in analytics, education, advertising, and children’s privacy, among other areas. Lara has engaged with regulators and privacy counsel in all regions, and has deep familiarity with building, implementing, and maintaining privacy/data protection programs.
