About the IAPP

As a director of elevenM, Melanie works with Australia’s leading brands to drive innovation and manage privacy, AI and data governance risks. Her previous privacy leadership roles were at the Commonwealth Bank and in the build of the My Health Record system.

Melanie served on the board of IAPP ANZ for a decade, including as President. She has also served on advisory boards for IAPP, Information Governance ANZ and Hello Sunday Morning. She is an expert advisor to LexisNexis on AI governance, privacy and data protection.

Melanie holds a Masters of IP Law from UTS, GAICD and FIP, IAPP.
